NEW MENU ITEM FOR CGQ SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS
The CGQ has received wonderfully positive comments about their concerts and workshops in schools. Please visit the new Schools website section for a description of “25 Strings” – a school presentation that combines demonstration, explanation and performance. There is also a downloadable Study Guide and some testimonials from school presenters.


 
DEBUT CGQ TOUR IN MEXICO/EL SALVADOR A SUCCESS
The CGQ recently completed their first tour in Mexico and El Salvador. With the generous support of the Canada Council, the CGQ performed in Pachuca, Guadalajara, Oaxaca, twice in the capital Mexico city, and in San Salvador and Santa Ana in El Salvador.

Audiences were enthusiastic and standing ovations were earned at all stops on the tour.

VIEW AN ENTIRE CGQ CONCERT ONLINE
As part of the Segovia Guitar Series of concerts, the CGQ was presented in recital in an exciting collaboration with DANCEWORKS CHICAGO. The concert was simulcast live on the internet and is available for viewing in the Pick Staiger video library at www.pickstaiger.com.
