The CGQ is delighted
to be able to help the Chilean relief effort. Sharing the stage with
Inti Illimani and Francesca Gagnon, all proceeds from this benefit
concert in Toronto will go to help Chile recover from the devastating
earthquakes and resulting tidal waves that have recently hit the country.
The CGQ is delighted to announce the launch of our full website in French. We have added a splashpage that gives our website visitors 3 language choices: English, Français and Español. The full version of the site in Spanish will be available very soon. --- 2nd G8 concert tour in Canada a huge success !!! The CGQ recently completed their 2nd Canadian tour with the Salzburg Guitar Quartet, - the combined quartets affectionately called "G8". This was the 4th G8 tour so far, and audiences continue to enthusiastically respond to this unique ensemble. Standing ovations were earned at all stops on the tour and attendance records were set for most of the presentors. of concerts, the CGQ was presented in recital in an exciting collaboration
with DANCEWORKS CHICAGO.
The concert was simulcast live on the internet and is available for
